Silko's participation at the World of Hospitality Expo 2023 Booth H9
15 JUNE 2023
We are present alongside Welbilt Inc. India at the “World of Hospitality Expo 2023” from June 13 to 15 in Bangalore, India.
Bangalore (also called Bengaluru) is the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka. It is the center of the country’s technology industry and is also renowned for its parks and nightlife. Near Cubbon Park, you can find the Vidhana Soudha, a grand neo-Dravidian style building that serves as the parliament’s seat.
The former royal residences include the Bangalore Palace, dating back to the 19th century and inspired by England’s Windsor Castle, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an almost entirely teak wood structure dating to the 18th century.
Bengaluru is famous not only for its technological dynamism but also for its diverse cuisine. In this captivating South Indian city, the authentic flavors of India merge with a modern culinary scene, offering visitors a delightful gastronomic experience.
To embark on our culinary journey in Bengaluru, we cannot overlook the famous dosa, a South Indian specialty. Dosa is a kind of rice and lentil crepe, thin and crispy, served with a variety of sauces called chutney and sambar, a spicy vegetable soup.

The cuisine of Karnataka, the state where Bengaluru is located, is a fusion of traditional South Indian flavors with unique regional influences. Taste the bisi bele bath, a spiced rice dish made with rice, lentils, vegetables, and a blend of aromatic spices. Also, try the ragi mudde, a millet ball served with vegetable or meat curry. Don’t forget to savor the famous Mysore pak, a sweet made from chickpea flour, ghee, and sugar that literally melts in your mouth.
